Why did we choose the DMC-3? It is simply the best technology currently available. With 375 megapixels in a single sensor, it blows away the competition. We can cover a significantly larger area in a single image and at a better resolution. Unlike other sensors that use software to merge many small photos together to create their \\\\'footprint\\\\', the DMC3 utilizes a single large CMOS sensor, thereby eliminating any distortion from mismatched sensors.
With the acquisition of a second DMC-3 in August 2018, Peregrine is now the largest aerial data acquisition company in Western Canada. By being able to either send the sensors to multiple areas, or focus both on to a single large project, Peregrine is able to tackle the biggest projects, as well as take care of our smaller clients with ease.
